the shoot & INSPIRATION
We were up at 5 AM heading to Sam’s dream spot for sunrise — and of course, the sky went full grey. But the clouds gave us the moody, cinematic atmosphere we didn’t even know we wanted.
The muted blues of the lake, the overcast skyline, and their soft, neutral outfits created an indie-romance palette on their own. We kept everything natural and easy: walking, spinning, leaning in, laughing. The black-and-white frames add nostalgia, the color shots feel like quiet movie stills.

We shot this entire session inside their cozy home, leaning into warm lamps, soft window light, and all the in-between moments that make a relationship feel real. The palette naturally fell into warm golds and deep shadows — moody, intimate, a little bit film-noir romance.
We kept everything candid and comfortable: cuddling on the couch, playing with their pup, laughing on the floor, and those silhouette shots that feel like scenes from a late-night indie movie. Every frame is warm, nostalgic, and quietly cinematic — the kind of love story you only get behind closed doors.

We shot this session in soft, overcast light — the kind that makes everything feel gentle and cinematic. Cozy sweaters, grainy black-and-whites, and warm neutral tones gave the whole shoot a nostalgic, almost autumn romance palette.

Hi, I’m Frankie — a Chicago-based photographer with a deep love for storytelling and the little, beautiful moments that often go unnoticed. I’ve always had an eye for the cinematic and romantic, and recently decided to chase that passion professionally.
My work focuses on movement, emotion, and honest connection — the kind of images that feel like stills from a movie. It’s just me right now, my camera, and a desire to make your love look and feel as real as it is.
I’m still learning and growing with every shoot, but I’ve always had an eye for beauty, light, and genuine emotion.
Even though I’m new to the professional side of photography, creativity has always been second nature to me. I pour my heart into every session, constantly experimenting and refining so each gallery feels more honest and cinematic than the last.

Planning tOGETHER
We talk through locations, lighting, outfits, timelines, and anything unique to your session. I’m hands-on throughout planning so you never feel unsure.

during the shoot
I guide you as much as you want. Expect movement, candid moments, soft direction, and a comfortable environment where nothing feels stiff or forced.

editing & delivery
You’ll receive a curated, fully edited gallery with my signature film-inspired style.
You also have full collaboration with any and all your inspiration provided.

revisions
Every gallery includes up to 1 round of revisions, if you are not super happy with the color, vibe & tone of the shoot to ensure the final images match your vision perfectly.

I will most likely post pictures to my photography socials, with your permission. The images are yours now, and you are free to share them however you please.
My equipment
A mix of digital, film, and compact cameras — chosen to match the style you want.
cameras
The standard is for me to show up to every single shoot with my main camera, a digital Canon, two fujifilms to capture atmosphere, a G7X for digital true-to-life events, and an Olympus MJU II from the early 90s to capture film.
other equipment
I also have multiple different lenses for each of the cameras, as well as attachable flash for my main camera for dark interiors or evenings, as well as a studio light that I can bring to indoor locations. Optionality to rent out a studio near your preferred location if you want more editorial feel.
